About this page
The notes from our early session on branding and identity. It also contains the first and second portrait photos used to depict myself as a brand.
the antichefs brand
Clean, modern, but homely, family
Three clearly defined sections within the show:
The modern professional kitchen with the michelin star chefs
The dishes brought out into a family home, with childrens toys
The family kitchen, homely, where the children try to recreate their dishes
Watch this Instagram reel below: Okay, so it's not technically a pitch deck, but I found it beyond interesting. When Pepsi re-designed their logo 15 years ago, a spec sheet was created that contains the entire ethos around the new design.
It starts off simple, with the logo behind logos and typefaces before taking the idea of a spherical Pepsi ball and turning into entirely unrelated elements like a planet or even a universe. Combining something mundane like a fizzy drink and various physics concepts is a highly unique and interesting idea.
The creators of this clearly had fun modelling the globe dynamics of a fictional Pepsi world.
How the orientation of the logo creates a different shape that represent facial expressions.
The depth and detail here might be considered unnecessary, but when you have maybe 7 figures to throw at a rebrand - why not?
Imagine this being presented to Pepsi investors, directors etc - what would they have thought?
Should I create the Universe of The Antichefs? No, probably not...
